I was surprised with a superhero cake from Flour Child on my 21st birthday, and it was amazing. It was obvious that Emilee put in so much thought and effort into making the cake perfect for me. Emilee does work that I wouldn't think possible away from a big city company. And every time I'm in the shop, I feel so welcome by all the ladies. Emilee has a maturity and work ethic unseen in people her age, and it shows in her products.
We have now used Flour Child for a number of events (birthdays, special occasions) since they opened shop, and the cakes and goodies are amazing. The creations are visually stunning and there is SO much flavor in every bite. It really is an experience for all of our guests, and becomes the talk of the event every time.
Emilee is very creative and her cakes always visually exceed our imaginations. The cookies are fabulous (try the salted caramel and salted chocolate caramel) and the macaroons are the best. Our grandkids still talk about the Pokémon ones!
If you are looking for baked goods that are truly an “experience,” this is the place to go!
Emilee is as sweet as her amazing cakes! She designed/made the cake for my wedding and I have no regrets, other than the fact that I ate so much of it that I almost gave myself a stomach ache! I did a wedding cake, as well as cake cups that way my guests had a little bit more of a smaller portion option! The cake was beyond delicious, I got so many compliments on the flavor as well as the design! My cake was white, two tiered and had white drips going down from the top of the cake as well as in between the layers, along with two gorgeous handmade sugar flowers and berries to top it off! Emilee was very flexible, I changed my wedding cake design once it got closer to the wedding and realized my original choice wasn't going to match, and there was no problem in doing that! she also provided a gluten-free Version of the cake cups for my guest that needed it! I strongly suggest using Emilee and her delicious desserts for any and all events in your future!
Emilee worked with me to create the most adorable and DELICIOUS gender reveal cake! She was so accommodating to my NO SO accommodating time frame to complete the cake and turned it around without any hesitation or complaints. I ordered the cake with little direction on appearance details and Emilee was able to design the perfect cake for what we needed.
My husband was VERY apprehensive when I told him I ordered a gluten free cake and was in complete shock at how delicious it was! Everything about the cake was perfect, and I was so upset when we finished the last piece, I want to eat her gluten free chocolate cake for EVERY meal.

My husband and I used Emilee for our cutting cake and cupcakes for our guest and we got so many rave reviews! Her set up was beautiful, elegant, and stunning! The taste of the cupcakes and cake were even better! We also ordered a few vegan cupcakes for some guest and were told people couldn’t taste the difference! Emilee was so easy to work with and was really responsive! She is an amazing wedding vendor, but I would recommend her for any cake/dessert need!
I just wanted to thank you for the absolutely beautiful job you did on the cakes for my parents. Everyone was wowed by their beauty and attention to detail and thought they were really delicious! My parents were really pleased and loved them, and that was the most important thing for me.
